 On October 26 2014 I found

out I had lung Cancer. I went to the

ER because I thought I had

 Pneumonia. The Dr. ordered the

standard chest x ray's. After reading

them she came to me and said I

have good news and I have bad

news. Good news you don't have

 Phenomena you have lung cancer.

At first I thought what a way to tell

someone. But with a little after

thought I would rather have been

told like that. But it was the size of

an grapefruit. In stage 2. You know

the old song lyric silent as a cancer

grows. I had no symptoms at all.

After numerous rounds of Radiation

and Chemo it was small enough to

operate on. The problem was that it

was too close to my main artery and

the surgeon didn't want to perform

the surgery because of that. I had

the surgery and it came off with

very few complications. I went for

the results of my second P.E.T

. scan 1/16/2015 and the Oncologist

said I'm Cancer free praise God almighty. So

please if you don't feel just right please see a

Dr. a simple blood test is all that is

needed to find it early and early

 detection is the key. Since

 contracting it I've heard many

similar stories like mine. The good

thing is there are more cancer

survivor today than 20 years ago. If

it were 20 years ago my Dr said she

would be preparing me to die

. Cancer is on the rise. But the good

news it's curable. If you have it or

 know someone who was recently

diagnosed encourage them to fight. Life

is a precious gift from God and with

cancer patients the demon of doubt

 and depression is strong. Thank

you everyone for listing to my story

and may God bless each and

 everyone of you.
